What Incoterm should I used for shipping?

You need to know what shipping term you applying to ship your freight prior to shipping. If you are new to importing, you can call one of our sales representatives to talk through the Incoterms 2020.

What is the difference between LCL shipment and FCL shipment?

FCL and LCL are common terms used in shipping under Export and Import trade of International Business.

When a shipper does not have enough cargo to accommodate in one full container, he books cargo with a consolidator to console his cargos along with cargo of other shippers. LCL or Less than a Container Load means your cargo will be consolidated with other shipper's cargo in the same container. LCL shipping is great if you have a small amount of cargo (one or two pallets) and do not need all the space of one container. LCL is also a cheaper alternative to air freight for small consignments.

FCL or Full Container Load means your cargo will be shipped in a full container. You can nominate the size of your container based on the weights and dimensions of the cargo you shipping. The most common FCL types are 20" General Purpose Container (20GP) and 40" General Purpose Container (40GP).
