SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL CULINARY EXCHANGE
about the project
Singapore Takeout is a 365-day gastronomic tour spanning nine major cities around the world with
state-of-the-art mobile kitchen, housed within a 20ft container. We moved two 20ft shipping containers
into 'confined' event spaces that limited our logistics resources. Spaces so tight we used heavy-duty rollers,
tugged by a forklift to 'skate' the containers into demarcated areas well within event spaces.
Restrictions, in some cities, on heavv-vehicles and flatbeds during peak-hour traffic added more challenges
to our timely delivery of containers to the venues.
Follow us this month and see how we moved seven tonnes of metal from port, to event venue.
Our Project Scope Of Work:
1. Shipping & Freight Forwarding
2. Ground Logistics & Crane Access
3. Venue Liaison & Vehicle Management
4 Carnet & other permits
